I’ve finally upgraded WordPress and can get back to posting. Thankfully, everything worked after I deleted and replaced files. There are still a couple of things that need to be adjusted with the menu tabs and pages, but I’m ready to get back to blogging again.
Edit: My CSS validation is suddenly not validating due to the upgrade. It seems to be related to the NextGen Gallery plugin. I think from this point I will concern myself with my own code validating and leave the rest alone and just not worry about it unless the web page stops working. Otherwise, I’ll spend hours just trying to get things to validate every time I need to upgrade something that wasn’t written by me.
